Biola University welcomes its newest class of students.

Biola University senior psychology major Alison Winiarski, junior biology major Catherine Newberry, and junior human biology major Ashley Yukihiro, won first place in a recent competition sponsored by the American Statistical Association and the Consortium for Advancement of Undergraduate Statistics Education.

Biola University's Crowell School of Business announced the winners of their first-ever startup competition on April 8. First, second and third place winners received up to $15,000 in funding along with legal and accounting service startup packages to jumpstart their business. Vista resident, Sean Harrington was one of three members who took home first place with their business pitch for White Elephant Post.

On April 15, Biola University's Theater 21 will debut their new production, "An Inspector Calls." Seven Biola students make up the main cast of the show, which is directed and choreographed by Biola theatre professor, Kate Brandon.
