Emily Sidnam, graduating Biola student, accepted into the university's baccalaureate society for the fall 2012 commencement ceremony

This fall, Emily Sidnam from Roseville, was honored with membership into Epsilon Kappa Epsilon, Biola's honors society. The honors society is invitation only, with students being selected by their departmental faculty. After selections are made, a committee reviews the candidates and makes the final decision of induction. Students selected by the committee are then invited to apply for this honor by the Dean's office. To be eligible, students must have a GPA of 3.75 or higher, as well as meeting the qualifications of service toward their community.

Nineteen students will be inducted into Biola's honors society for the Fall 2012 Commencement. Membership is limited to 7 percent of the graduating class.

Students who have received this honor will be given special cords to be worn on Friday, Dec. 21 with their graduation gowns. The graduation ceremony will take place at Biola featuring commencement speakers Rev. Adrian De Visser, founder and pastor of Kithu Sevana Ministries in Sri Lanka, and his son Prashan De Visser, president and founder of Sri Lanka Unites.
