Ashley Shafer to be Inducted into Biola University's Honors Society

This fall, Ashley Shafer from Temecula, was honored with membership into Epsilon Kappa Epsilon, Biola's honors society. The honors society is invitation only, with students being selected by their departmental faculty. After selections are made, a committee reviews the candidates and makes the final decision of induction. Students selected by the committee are then invited to apply for this honor by the Dean's office. To be eligible, students must have a GPA of 3.75 or higher, as well as meeting the qualifications of service toward their community.

Sixteen students to be inducted into Biola's honors society for the Fall 2011 Commencement. Membership is limited to no more than 7% of the graduating class. Students who have received this honor will be given special cords to be worn on Dec. 16 with their graduation gowns.
